The ZipWall® Edge™ Head & Non-Skid Plate is a specialized attachment designed to create a secure dust barrier at the edge of drop ceilings without lifting or damaging the ceiling grid. Engineered for use with all ZipWall® spring-loaded poles, this innovative head and plate combination helps maintain a tight seal where walls and drop ceilings meet, making it ideal for restoration, remodeling, construction, and dust containment applications.
Its non-skid design keeps barrier material securely in place while protecting delicate ceiling systems. For best results, use the Edge™ Head & Non-Skid Plate on the first and last poles of your containment setup, while standard heads and plates can be used on the remaining poles between them.
Installation is quick and simple:
- Attach the Edge™ head and plate to the top of a ZipWall® spring-loaded pole
- Slide the plate off the head
- Pull the barrier material over the head
- Press the material through the snaps and replace the plate
- Slide the plate into the locked position to secure the barrier
- Position the pole next to the wall for a clean, professional seal
