Water Damage Rental Guide
Answer the questions below to get a complete recommendation for extraction, drying, and PPE.
Surface Type
The surface affected helps determine whether DIY extraction is appropriate.
Extraction
Every water damage project starts with removing excess or standing water. Proper extraction ensures floors, walls, and ceilings can dry effectively.
Drying
Proper drying requires the correct number of air movers and dehumidifiers working in tandem. Using the correct amount helps materials dry faster and prevents lingering moisture.
PPE
Personal protective equipment depends on water cleanliness.
Equipment
Steps for reserving this equipment:
1. Start with Extraction: Reserve the Mytee Air Hog and the SOS Extractor (carpet/pad) or a Wand (all surfaces) - (these will appear as accessories). If you have more than 1 inch of standing water, also add a sump pump.
2. Choose Rental Duration: Select the number of days you think you’ll need the extraction equipment (typically 1–3 days).
3. Move on to Drying: Once the extraction equipment is returned, rent your drying equipment — air movers and dehumidifiers.
4. Note on Drying Equipment: Drying equipment is rented for 3+ days only, since it takes at least 3 days to achieve proper drying results.
5. Call or text 208-502-0201 for any questions!
